I started dancing when I was 6 years old. I went to my first nationals at 8 in Sydney. I cried so much when I got my recall because they tried to make me dance all by myself 😂 I was petrified.

During my career, I won the Australian Championships 4 times in solo, and the State Championships 12 times.

I moved to the USA at 21 to dance with the Petri School of Irish Dance. It was the most incredible experience ever, and I am forever grateful. Whilst living there, I achieved 2 world medals (14th and 19th) and various top 5 placements for world ranking competitions.

In 2010 I took my teachers dancing exam and began teaching with the school. That year I came home for Christmas and realised just how homesick I was. I made a deal with my teachers that if I moved home, I had to open my own school...a dream I've had for many many years.

Here I am, owner and teacher of the McGrath Irish Dancing school established in 2011. I absolutely love what I do!!
