ABOUT US

Founded in 2011, Leanne McGrath followed her dream of opening her own Irish Dance School. From what began as a small program, Leanne has grown her school to promote Irish Dancing to all levels and abilities. With a background in Personal Training, McGrath Irish Dance is focused on smart training sessions to ensure dancers get the maximum out of each session.  Leanne is determined to drive those dancers willing to head for the top of competition. 

 

McGrath Irish Dancer's have numerous State Solo and Team titles to their name. McGrath have had representation at the ACT State Championships, Australian Championships, North American Nationals, All Ireland Championships, Great Britain Championships and the prestigious World Championships.

Leanne prides her school on a fun, family culture of hardworking dancers. Dancers look forward to making new friends in their classes and at competitions.

Leanne herself is a 4x time Australian Solo Champion and numerous team title holder. Leanne won the ACT solo Championships over 10 times. Leanne was ranked 14th and 17th in the World Championships and holds various podium places around the world, including 4th in the North American Nationals and 5th at the All Scotland's. Leanne's passion for Irish Dancing shows through her dancers and their successes. Leanne became an adjudicator in 2016 and actively judges in Australia and around the world.
